Prepared Horseradish


I'm a horseradish fiend! Especially on burgers with homemade mayo.
Horseradish is beef's natural partner, it's just meant to be. 


Prepared Horseradish

*1 lb. fresh horseradish root
*8 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
*2 1/2 tsp. sea or kosher salt

Peel and grate horseradish root on a micro plane grater/ hard cheese grater/ tiny holes. This surprisingly goes rather quickly. You'll have a pile of spicy fluff when you're done. 

Combine ingredients in a jar. Stir up and refrigerate up to a month. 

Serve on a slice of roast beef. 

Roast beef sandwich with horseradish mayo. Add chopped fresh rosemary, sliced tomato and arugula to a French bread sandwich.
